Unos 100 manifestantes antimigrantes se concentraron la tarde de este domingo en la localidad costera de Gosport, en el sur de Inglaterra, después de que circularan informes de que una lancha con alrededor de 120 migrantes a bordo se dirigía hacia la costa británica tras haber zarpado desde Normandía, en Francia, recoge The Independent.

La embarcación neumática fue escoltada por unidades de rescate francesas hasta que entró en aguas británicas, donde fue recibida por barcos de la Real Institución Nacional de Botes Salvavidas. Se trata del tercer bote de este tipo detectado en la zona desde comienzos de mes. Según los reportes, la Policía detuvo a seis personas. Además, las autoridades emitieron una orden de dispersión que permanecerá vigente hasta la mañana del martes; incumplirla constituye un delito y puede derivar en arresto.
